Job Title: Director, Commercial Partnerships

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our major commercial partnerships, including public-private partnerships (PPPs) under the Partnerships Victoria framework.

This role requires advanced commercial, financial, and strategic skills to manage complex arrangements and ensure robust governance.

The successful candidate will safeguard our investment in PPPs and other capital projects, ensuring they are commercially negotiated and managed to maximise economic value and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the management of major commercial partnerships
  • Overseeing state obligations under the Project Development and Construction Management Act 1994
  • Delivering significant state assets and capital projects

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to work at senior levels across the department and its agencies, collaborate closely with central agencies and ministers' offices, and partner with other departments.

They will also foster a high-performing, inclusive culture within their team, while actively role-modeling DTP's values.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications highly regarded
