About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our cloud platforms team. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for guiding an engineering team in the operation, development, and refinement of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the platform engineering team in designing, building, and improving scalable cloud services.
  • Help to expand on best practices and set the quality bar appropriately high.
  • Work with the team and wider group on timelines, resource allocation, and estimates to ensure efficient delivery of our products.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Collaborate across disciplines from product, project, engineering, customer success, and business development.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other software components and third-party services.
Requirements
  • Preferably 10 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a cloud SaaS environment.
  • Educated, with a degree in computer science or engineering desirable.
  • Familiar with lean, fast-paced environments and experience in businesses at a similar stage.
  • Customer-focused, taking ownership, biased for action, and ever-curious.
