Structural Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing structural engineering design services using leading technology of steel and concrete structures, including foundations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement structural engineering designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Inspect and appraise industry assets and structures, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Manage engineering projects, including the supervision of drafting subcontractors and ensuring timely completion.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring mutual benefit.
- Mentor and support engineering graduates and other team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree qualification in civil engineering, with postgraduate qualifications in structural engineering highly regarded.
- At least 10 years of post-graduation experience working in an engineering role involving design of steel structures and foundations, in Australia.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to travel locally and interstate, as required.
- Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
