About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our growing Rouse Hill project team within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex Electrical works safely, on time, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely and collaboratively with our Design Team, Site Engineering and Supervisory Team to deliver Electrical works
  • Assisting with the development of contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations, initiating and executing work to minimise cost
  • Design review, issue tender documents, procurement, expediting, site installation and commissioning assistance of electrical packages
  • Attending and participating in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR's and other workshops as required
  • Overseeing practical completion documentation
  • Management of Design & Construct LV & HV electrical subcontractors

Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Electrical Engineering Qualifications
  • 5-10 years' experience in Electrical Engineering role
  • Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants (preferred)
  • Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
  • An affinity for continuous improvement and innovation, applying learnings to 'real world' project delivery environments
