Job Summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our growing Rouse Hill project team within our Utilities business.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working on complex construction projects in water infrastructure, including water or wastewater treatment plants.

The role involves working closely with our design team, site engineering and supervisory team to deliver electrical works safely, on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary electrical engineering qualification, 5-10 years' experience in electrical engineering and knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contract management functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely and collaboratively with our design team, site engineering and supervisory team to deliver complex electrical works safely, on time and on budget
  • Assist with the development of contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations, initiating and executing work to minimize cost ensuring they are in line with the forecasted revenue
  • Design review, issue tender documents, procurement, expediting, site installation and commissioning assistance of electrical packages
  • Attend and participate in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR's and other workshops as required
  • Overseeing practical completion documentation
  • Management of Design & Construct LV & HV electrical subcontractors
