We are seeking an experienced Senior Renewable Energy Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Description

This role will play a crucial part in designing, integrating, and optimizing solar power systems to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical systems for connecting solar panels to inverters, battery storage, and the grid.
  • Optimize solar energy systems for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Develop monitoring and control systems for solar installations.

In addition, you will be responsible for specifying and managing inverters for converting DC power to AC power, integrating power electronics such as charge controllers, and developing automation systems using smart controllers, SCADA, and IoT for remote monitoring.

The successful candidate will conduct performance tests on electronic components like inverters and controllers, diagnose and troubleshoot faults to minimize system downtime, and ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations.

You will also be responsible for researching and developing new technologies to enhance solar electronics efficiency, staying updated with advancements in renewable energy and power electronics, and designing and integrating battery energy storage systems (BESS) with solar panels.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the solar energy industry.
