Business Operations Director

This is a compelling opportunity to collaborate with the Director of Business Support in human resources, operational management, performance monitoring, planning and data reporting initiatives.
The role demands exceptional organisational and project management skills, along with initiative and a proactive approach to supporting a team dispersed nationally.
You will lead projects, consolidate and maintain procedures, processes and guidelines, work with the Director to identify areas for improvement and liaise with stakeholders across all levels.
- Manage and at times lead the operationalisation and implementation of projects and process improvement strategies within the business.
- Ensure systems, processes and activities support the achievement of operational and organisational strategies.
- Manage the Business Support Team to drive staff performance through coaching and mentoring.
- Develop, review and refine workplace processes and procedures to identify opportunities for change and implement improvements.
- Represent the Business Support Service team in internal and external meetings as required.
Demonstrated professionalism, including the ability to work constructively and collaboratively with stakeholders to share information, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute expertise in support of organisational goals.
The ideal candidate will possess an understanding and cultural awareness of issues affecting First Nations peoples and have demonstrated experience in leading support teams and managing complex projects.
