The Technical Presales Consultant role at our organization offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, global environments.

As a liaison between clients, sales, product, customer experience, and marketing teams, you will identify and scope new requests and enhancements to provide Phocas product and technical pre-sales expertise.

You will support local sales teams in their efforts to grow the business while making people feel valued. This drives every area of work - from product development to sales and implementation for customers worldwide.

This role gives meaning to your work as it allows you to make a tangible difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to deliver guided demos aligning customer needs to the Phocas product suite.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure successful projects for both parties.
  • Develop and document project requirements, data connections, and plan deliverables with Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Create Proof of Concepts (POCs) using client data to articulate the value proposition of Phocas and support the sales team in winning business.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in presales or as a business analyst or implementation consultant in software or information services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with manufacturing retail and/or distribution industry knowledge.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for documenting project requirements and monitoring milestones.
  • A good working knowledge of SQL with attention to detail and process-driven methodologies.
  • Highly skilled at interfacing with all levels of an organization and direct customer/client management experience.
  • Experience defining implementing or supporting software B2B SaaS is preferred.
  • Familiarity with BI reporting tools, various ERP systems, and knowing the ERP/partner ecosystem is ideal.
