Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee shift operations, ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise shift operations to achieve set targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in daily operations.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage machine repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Coach and develop Team Leaders to enhance their leadership skills and overall team performance.
  • Promote an inclusive, high-performance culture centered on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Implement Lean processes across all operational areas to optimize efficiency.
  • Exhibit Felt Leadership qualities, demonstrating a proactive, hands-on approach to management.
Requirements
  • Experience in lean manufacturing.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage costs, throughput, and scrap to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Safety-first culture with implementation of processes and governance protocols.
  • Ability to conduct daily toolbox meetings and communicate key information to the team.
  • Seamless shift transition ensuring uninterrupted operations continuity.
  • Maintenance of clean, organized workspaces to promote operational efficiency.
  • Recruitment and workforce planning aligning with organizational needs.
  • Development and implementation of standard work schedules for supervisors and team leaders.
  • Filling in for the Production Manager when necessary.
Benefits

Working hours are Monday to Friday 5 am to 1 pm.
