Manufacturing Operations Manager

About Us
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production team and ensure the efficient manufacture of high-quality caravans and camper trailers.
Job Description:
- To manage all aspects of production operations, including manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, and resource allocation to achieve a timely and efficient production schedule;
- To effectively manage production staff to ensure quality standards and production targets are met, including recruitment, training, and ongoing performance review;
- To ensure that all occupational health and safety procedures and protocols are upheld at all times and conduct regular safety reviews to identify any inadequacies;
- To regularly review quality control measures and procedures to identify and address any issues;
- To oversee inventory levels and manage supply of materials, equipment, and components to minimize production delays and disruptions;
- To manage relationships with local and overseas suppliers;
- To identify opportunities for process and cost improvement and adopt best practices to streamline operations and maximize productivity;
- To maintain effective communication with other business units, including sales, marketing, logistics, to coordinate production schedules and support business objectives;
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Demonstrated experience in a production/manufacturing management role, preferably within the automotive or recreational vehicle industry;
- Tertiary degree in engineering, manufacturing, business management, or a related field, or at least 5 years' experience in lieu of formal qualifications;
- Strong leadership and team-building skills;
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
