Job Title

The role of a Fixed Term Postgraduate Fellow is available for suitably qualified medical practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide sound clinical knowledge in nephrology, dialysis, and renal transplantation through successful clinical practice.
  • Support basic, applied or clinical research within the department.
Essential Requirements:
  • Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
  • Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency.
  • Hold a current NSW Environment Protection Authority license (if applicable).
  • Have extensive clinical experience in managing complex chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and transplant patients.
  • Be committed to teaching and mentoring junior medical staff.
  • Be committed to clinical and/or basic science research in nephrology and transplantation.
Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrate senior medical practitioner attributes, including high-level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have experience working within a multidisciplinary team and participating in quality assurance activities.
  • Be committed to evidence-based practice and have experience in caring for renal transplant and dialysis patients.
Working With Children Check:

Applicants must provide evidence of a Working with Children Check issued by the Office of Communities Commission for Children and Young People.
