Job Description

Deliver Expert Clinical Care to Patients

This role involves delivering expert clinical advice and tailored care for patients preparing for transplant. The successful candidate will be responsible for educating and empowering patients, families, and fellow health professionals.

Additionally, the role will involve driving research initiatives in renal transplantation and chronic kidney disease, contributing to service development, and leading specialty education programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert clinical advice and tailored care for patients preparing for transplant
  • Educate and empower patients, families, and fellow health professionals
  • Drive research initiatives in renal transplantation and chronic kidney disease
  • Contribute to service development and lead specialty education programs
  • Mentor nursing staff and foster a culture of continuous learning
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, including at least 3 years in the specialty field
  • Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to the field or other qualifications/experience deemed appropriate by the employer
