Clinical Nurse Specialists play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with chronic kidney disease.
- The primary objective of this position is to utilize evidence-based practice to develop and implement personalized care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing advanced nursing care to patients with chronic kidney disease
- Leading clinical teams and mentoring less experienced clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care
- Staying updated on the latest renal nursing practices through ongoing professional development
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and advance nursing practice
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Relevant post-registration qualifications in Renal Nursing with a minimum of three years' experience working in the specialty
- Demonstrated competencies in communication, leadership, and specialty nursing care
- Ongoing commitment to professional development and maintaining competence in renal nursing
This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, exercising autonomy in clinical decision-making, leading clinical teams, and supervising tasks to ensure quality care delivery.
