Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a pioneer in cloud computing, offering a robust suite of products and services to power businesses. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Training Initiative Manager to join our team in Sydney.

About the Role

The Cloud Training Initiative Manager will be responsible for implementing and administering high-quality training initiatives in technical and non-technical learning programs for AWS Support. This role involves coordinating training programs, running workshops, monitoring impact and success metrics, and assisting with some curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with AWS Service teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and others on the AWS Support team to support department training programs and initiatives.
  • Implement and manage training programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the audience and content.
  • Apply adult learning principles to design and develop training that best fits the needs of the audience and content.
  • Oversee the design and development of exercises, tutorials, job aids, and assessments.
  • Manage New Hire Onboarding, including LMS registration, logistics, and system permissions.
  • Monitor assessment, survey, and operational data, and perform ongoing needs analysis.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide mentorship and career growth opportunities, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 2+ years of training delivery experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills.
  • Experience in program or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience driving process improvements.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
