About the Opportunity

At the Archdiocese of Brisbane, we are committed to nurturing children's social, personal, respectful, spiritual, creative, and confident growth. We invite enthusiastic and fun-loving educators to join our Neighbourhood Childcare Centre team in Windsor.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be pivotal in creating a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to Kindergarten. You will work collaboratively with our established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and care, hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent, and possess effective workplace communication skills. A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is also essential.

We offer a competitive base hourly rate depending on qualifications and experience, plus uniform allowances. Our centre values work-life balance, providing Casual educators with the flexibility to control their hours. You will also have access to our Employee Assistance Program and a supportive management team.

In this role, you will promote the service within the local community, participate in professional and personal development, and build strong relationships with families, educators, and the community.

Job Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent, or currently studying or willing to enroll in study.
  • A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months to Kindergarten in a play-based learning environment.
  • Effective workplace communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $25-$30 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience. We look forward to welcoming you to our team
