Strategic Leadership Role
The successful candidate will contribute to the department's Indigenous Strategy, driving forward-thinking initiatives and collaborations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading research and analysis to inform policy development and recommendations for advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' interests.
- Developing and implementing strategic solutions to support the delivery of policy outcomes.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure effective project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Preparing high-quality reports, briefings, and submissions that meet departmental standards.
- Providing coaching and support services to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions are delivered.
Mandatory qualifications include a genuine occupational requirement that this position be filled by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Desirable qualifications include a Queensland Driver's License for intrastate travel.
