About the Job:As a local driver, you will play a key role in assisting hundreds of businesses to meet their transport needs. You will be responsible for delivering temperature-sensitive freight safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Safe Practices - Demonstrate safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
- Temperature Sensitive Freight - Work with temperature-sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
- Customer Service - Interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Teamwork & Communication - Work closely with depot teams for loading, unloading, and transportation of freight.
- Quality Checks & Control - Complete pre-start checklists, safety documentation, and delivery of paperwork.
- A valid heavy vehicle license.
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Bulk Fuel Handling (BFH) certification is preferred.
- A clean driving record.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
