We're seeking an experienced Driver to join our team. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs.
We have multiple roles available:
- Fulltime Dayshift
- Casual Dayshift
- Fulltime Nightshift
Lindsay Transport is Australia's largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centers. We're part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.
Responsibilities- Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
- Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
- Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
- Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go.
- Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.
- Current and valid HC/MC licence.
- Previous commercial driving experience detailed in your resume.
- Current BFM, preferred but not essential.
- A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
- Well presented, professional and reliable.
