Support Professional RoleThe primary objective of this support professional role is to provide bespoke support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring that their unique needs are met in accordance with their tailored care plans. This will involve assisting with daily living activities, including eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming, as well as providing transportation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to clients based on their individual needs.
- Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet.
- Transport clients to appointments and social events.
- Prepare healthy meals for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client care plans and progress.
Requirements:
- A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.Certificate 3 in Individual Support or higher.Experience working with people with disabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
