Energy Sector Credit Expertise Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to leverage your skills in credit analysis and contribute to the growth of our business.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Owning origination processes for new transactions to expand our portfolio
  • Monitoring and managing client portfolios as a junior credit analyst working alongside senior analysts
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, peers, and clients to initiate and structure banking transactions
  • Providing research support to implement sector strategies
  • Delivering revenue and balance sheet growth targets aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintaining portfolio management and hygiene according to KPIs, including credit assessment and exposure management

You will also participate in deal teams on new-to-bank opportunities, providing general transaction and credit analysis support. Your responsibilities will include crafting credit submissions, presenting and negotiating submissions through the risk management decision process, and ensuring proper execution of the credit process.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should have demonstrated knowledge of the Australian energy and infrastructure sectors, a degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, and experience in credit analysis within a wholesale or corporate and institutional banking environment. You must possess strong attention to detail, relationship-building ability, and communication and influencing skills to manage relationships with stakeholders.
