Job Title: Events Manager
Deliver exceptional event management and end-to-end delivery of events, ensuring timely and successful outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project plans with a 12–24 month critical time path.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans to ensure timely delivery of all event milestones.
- Implement sales and exhibition strategies to drive profitability by reducing costs and increasing turnover, productivity, and efficiency.
- Manage event budgets and financial reporting while forecasting leading into events.
- Work with operations and sales team to finalise floor plans and event logistics, ensuring safe, timely, and effective delivery.
- Maximise the exhibitor experience through high-level customer service and effective use of systems and processes.
- Scope out exhibitors for potential sponsor and partner opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relevant industry networks.
- Ensure all exhibitor related insurance and WHS requirements are adhered to.
- Provide high-level customer service and coordination onsite during event periods.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience (minimum 3-5 years) across major events and sales processes.
- Proven track record and experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work logically and efficiently to achieve goals.
- Strong attention to detail to avoid administrative errors.
- Excellent sales, negotiations, and commercial skills.
- High level of analytical and conceptual thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM's.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Event Management is desirable.
