Chief Contract Manager

This role involves managing various internal contract projects, including maintaining risk allocation and legislative compliance of HIA's standard form contracts.
The successful candidate will have a mix of ongoing project-based work, ad hoc contractual management, and stakeholder support. They will maintain and manage all HIA contract related projects, drafting of contracts, and provide advice on risk allocation.
They will also work alongside our Workplace Services team to understand unique region requirements. The candidate will conduct annual and ad-hoc reviews of HIA's suite of standard form contracts and documents to ensure they are legally compliant and represent residential building industry practice.
The role requires leadership and support to the workplace services team by setting clear direction, performance standards, and expectations when conducting reviews and projects. The candidate must maintain contract and other document records regarding contractual changes and future projects.
Additionally, the candidate will navigate and understand different legislative requirements applicable to contracts. They will develop information and training in relation to contractual requirements.
