We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Palliative Care Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality end-of-life care to clients and their families.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centered care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, working collaboratively with clinical support teams to develop expertise in palliative care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive end-of-life care to clients and their families in a home environment.
  • Work closely with a specialized in-home palliative team to develop skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate in the employing State.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
  • Mid to senior level proficiency in general nursing with a person-centered care approach.
  • Prior experience or ongoing pursuit of qualifications in palliative care, pain management, or acute care is highly valued.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to address care requirements.
  • Current driver's license and ability to navigate rural and remote areas of Queensland.
