About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coordinator to join our People and Culture team. This individual will play a crucial role in mobilising site and office personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate pre-employment medicals and ensure timely completion.
  2. Liaise with candidates and internal managers regarding medical appointments and test results.
  3. Handle general enquiries related to the pre-employment medical process.
  4. Assist with setting up on-site random drug and alcohol testing.
  5. Collaborate with the Safety department regarding employment suitability following testing results.
  6. Coordinate with medical providers as required.
  7. Raise, review, and process purchase orders for payment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience reviewing medical paperwork within the resources industries is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills across multiple departments.
  • Objective judgment and sound decision-making skills.
  • Strong skills in prioritisation, planning, multitasking, and time management.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
