The Position:

We are seeking to fill the role of Medicals Coordinator within our People and Culture team. This position will play a crucial role in mobilising site and office personnel.

Responsibilities / Duties:

  1. Facilitate booking of pre-employment medicals.
  2. Liaise with candidates and internal managers regarding medical appointments.
  3. Attend to all general enquiries related to the pre-employment medical process.
  4. Assist with setting up for on-site random drug and alcohol testing.
  5. Liaise with the Safety department regarding employment suitability following testing results.
  6. Coordinate with OccuMed or other medical providers as required.
  7. Raise, review, and process purchase orders for payment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience reviewing medical paperwork within the resources industries is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills across multiple departments.
  • Objective judgment and sound decision-making skills.
  • Strong skills in prioritisation, planning, multitasking, and time management.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
