Grade 2 Dietician Job Description

Dieticians play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred nutrition services across various settings at our healthcare facility.

We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Dietician to join our multidisciplinary team, where you will work closely with clients and carers to deliver tailored dietary solutions.

  • About the Role:
  • In this dynamic position, you will provide dietetic care to individuals and groups in hospital, residential aged care, and community-based environments.
  • You will support the design and delivery of health promotion initiatives, contribute to food service and nutrition policy implementation, and take on other responsibilities as needed.
  • You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and external service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients, their families, and carers.
  • As a Grade 2 Dietician, you will supervise junior staff and students while actively contributing to continuous quality improvement activities within the department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A tertiary qualification (Bachelor/Masters) in Nutrition and Dietetics;
  • Current registration with Dietitians Australia;
  • Minimum experience of 3 years working in a relevant setting;
  • Current Driver's licence; and
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
