**Job Title:** Family Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Family Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing intensive in-home support to families experiencing complex challenges.
About the Role:
As a valued member of our team, you will work directly with families to help them stay safely together. This is a community-based therapeutic role, where support is primarily delivered in the family home. Your focus will be on building trusting relationships with parents and carers, supporting them to strengthen their parenting skills, improve family functioning, and create safer environments for their children.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, using trauma-informed and culturally safe approaches to promote healing, stability, and long-term wellbeing. You will be part of a service that puts children's safety at the centre, while also recognising the importance of supporting the whole family unit.
