**Family Preservation Specialist Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, young people and their families. As a Family Preservation Specialist, you will work within our dynamic Intensive Family Preservation team to support the safety and well-being of vulnerable families.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • To provide high-quality, flexible intensive family preservation services to clients in need.
  • To develop comprehensive case plans, conduct regular case reviews and maintain accurate and relevant case notes.
  • Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call service to ensure continuity of care for our clients.
  • To work effectively within a child protection framework, identifying and responding to risks and safety concerns for children and families.
  • To apply trauma-informed and evidence-based practice to child and family interventions, promoting resilience and well-being.

**Requirements**

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or related field.
  • Proven experience in casework, working with children, young people and their families using a person-centred, strength-based approach.
  • Knowledge of child protection principles and legislation, including the Child and Young Person (Care & Protection) Act 1988.
