About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing maintenance strategies to reduce asset downtime across our renewable fleet.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and embed processes relating to maintenance strategies development, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate effective collaboration between Engineering, Maintenance and Asset Services SMEs to ensure that reliability analyses outcomes are included into maintenance strategies.
  • Support Renewables Engineering and Maintenance teams in developing and prioritizing optimized maintenance strategies for the Renewables portfolio.
  • Loading optimized maintenance strategies into the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) and converting them into effective routines.
  • Updating existing planned maintenance tasks in the CMMS (SAP) and Document Management System (AEL).
  • Developing and deploying maintenance support information with the Renewables (including Gas) Maintenance teams.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is developed and stored within the Renewables Document Management System for Planned Maintenance Tasks.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to manage maintenance documentation effectively.
  • Collaborating with Renewables Engineering to ensure projects deliver the required documentation to maintain assets.
  • Developing tools and systems to improve KPI tracking suitable for Visual Management boards.
  • Gathering and analyzing data across Renewables assets for robust reliability analysis at business unit, system, and equipment level.
  • Coordinating Failure Mode and Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for plant failures.
  • Monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of renewable assets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience utilising Reliability Engineering techniques and Asset Management principles highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading reliability improvement initiatives and developing maintenance documentation in power stations or other similar heavy industry.
  • Understanding of SAP as a CMMS highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Power BI, OSI PI, Reliability, RCA and Condition Monitoring software desirable.
  • Able to work across multiple Renewable sites and provide technical support to other business units as needed.
  • Attention to detail for identifying minor issues in root cause or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) analysis.
