We are seeking an experienced leader to head our fleet support and maintenance function. This critical role is responsible for ensuring operational readiness and reliability of our rental fleet.

The successful candidate will lead a central team of fleet support and maintenance staff, overseeing supplier relationships and managing daily operations. They will also identify and analyze fleet maintenance trends, and report on recurring issues and downtime patterns to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a high-performing team to ensure clear priorities and effective day-to-day operations.
  • Overseeing supplier relationships across maintenance, repairs, breakdown, tyres, and recovery services.
  • Identifying and analyzing fleet maintenance trends, and reporting on recurring issues and downtime patterns.
  • Maintaining strict cost control across all maintenance activities.
  • Staying up to date with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

To be considered, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in fleet maintenance management.
  • Passionate leadership, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Background in car rental / travel and tourism industry.
  • Strong strategic capability with commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
