The OpportunityWe are seeking experienced claims professionals to join our growing organisation as senior team members. They will set the standard in claims management, guide and support others through mentoring and coaching, and lead by example to create a culture of collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
- Support workers and employers with the claim process, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to facilitate return to work and injury recovery.
- Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
- Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues.
- A minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatory.
- You must currently reside in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation assistance.
- An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to customer-centric support is essential.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
