Job Overview

This Sushi role is ideal for those passionate about providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious Sushi dishes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Sushi preparation and excellent communication skills to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition, they will be physically fit to meet the demands of a fast-paced retail outlet environment.

A key responsibility will be to assist with Cash handling, operate the POS machine, maintain store cleanliness and organize display presentation areas.

The team works closely together to ensure seamless operations across Downer's 8 food outlets within the hospital, offering opportunities for growth and multitasking.

About the Role

This position has two main areas of responsibility: Customer Service and Kitchen Hand duties. Key tasks include:

  • Customer Service - delivering prompt, efficient and friendly service
  • Preparing and cooking ingredients including lifting rice cookers/spinners
  • Maintaining equipment, utensils, and store cleanliness
