The position offers flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home up to 50% of the time. However, shift-based work may be required depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Resolution: Investigate, own, and solve complex customer technical issues, acting as a trusted advisor while collaborating across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge Sharing: Lead community building and share expertise through readiness programs, technical coaching, and mentoring.
- Professional Growth: Develop technical and professional proficiency to address complex customer issues through training and readiness initiatives.
- Product/Process Enhancement: Collaborate with engineering and supportability teams to identify product defects and develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools for improvement.
Required:
The candidate must be an Australian citizen residing in Australia.
5+ years of technical support, consulting, or IT experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 3+ years of technical support, consulting, or IT experience.
Windows System Administration and Configuration require a good basic understanding of:
- Registry
- Windows Activation
- Windows Setup and Upgrade
- Windows Update
- Windows Security (TPM, BitLocker, MBAM, WDAC)
Desirable skills include:
- Experience managing Windows Update for Business, including compliance and deferral policies.
- Proficiency in Windows Setup & Upgrade scenarios (in-place upgrades and clean installs).
- Familiarity with Windows Activation processes and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of BitLocker encryption and TPM management.
- Familiarity with Windows Defender Application Control and Smart App Control.
- Familiarity with OS deployment tools and methodologies (e.g., MDT, SCCM, Autopilot).
- Understanding of compliance management and policy enforcement in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure AD.
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals relevant to Windows servicing and deployment.
Ability to meet security screening requirements, including verification of Australian citizenship and passport verification where necessary.
