At the forefront of disability support, this role offers a unique opportunity to empower individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services that promote independence, functional skills, and social inclusion.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting participants with daily living tasks, transportation, education, medication management, and community participation.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized plans tailored to each individual's distinct needs and goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver person-centered support and care to individuals with diverse abilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and domestic duties
- Transport participants to appointments and activities
- Support education and skill development through group centre activities
- Manage medications and ensure safe administration
**Requirements:**
- Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- First Aid and CPR training
- NDIS Orientation Module and Infection Control Module
- Certificate IV in Disability or Individual Support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
