At iCare4U Support Services, we empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their personal goals. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll deliver tailored support that promotes dignity, community inclusion, and life-enhancing skills.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support aligned with personalised care plans, promoting client autonomy and self-reliance.
- Assist with personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation, transport, and social/recreational activities that foster connection and enjoyment.
- Develop clients' living, employment, and life skills through goal-oriented support, helping them navigate everyday challenges.
- Facilitate community access and group participation, encouraging clients to engage with their communities.
- Promote client independence, choice, and decision-making, respecting their rights and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records using digital systems, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
The Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Cert III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services, PEG Feeding and Manual handling, providing a strong foundation for your role.
- Minimum 6 months' experience supporting people with disabilities, demonstrating your commitment to this field.
- Valid: Driver's Licence + Reliable/Insured Vehicle + Smartphone, enabling you to travel safely and efficiently.
- Current Checks: WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, First Aid Certificate, verifying your trustworthiness and competence.
- NDIS Modules: Completed Worker Orientation + Infection Prevention Control training, showcasing your dedication to best practices.
- Skills: Empathy, adaptability, conflict resolution, and tech proficiency (Microsoft Office), empowering you to provide high-quality support.

Job Details
- Job Types: Part-time, Casual, offering flexibility and variety.
