The Job Description

This Corporate Tax Director position is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team and drive business development efforts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a prestigious client portfolio and driving business growth by building strong client relationships and identifying new market opportunities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth through strategic client service delivery and identify new market opportunities.
  • Lead client service teams ensuring top-notch service delivery.
  • Offer tailored, strategic tax advice and resolve complex tax issues.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals ensuring continuous development and technical excellence.
  • Oversee the review of income tax returns and provisions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and governance frameworks for corporate clients.
  • Provide guidance on business structuring, tax due diligence, and cross-border tax matters.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance with a major in Accounting.
  • CA qualification (or equivalent).

Requirements & Skills:

  • Extensive experience in corporate tax advisory, compliance, and consulting.
  • Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and relationship management.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, with a passion for growing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at the highest levels.
