Senior Corporate Tax Strategist Role

The Senior Corporate Tax Strategist will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level tax advisory and compliance services to esteemed clients. This leader will oversee the preparation and review of technical tax advice, reports, and client-facing documents, ensuring seamless execution of tax strategies and structuring solutions that align with client objectives.

  • Lead teams in the preparation and review of income tax returns, leveraging expertise in corporate tax compliance.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of tax due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions, guaranteeing alignment with client goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert advice on complex M&A transactions, including reviewing sale & purchase agreements.
  • Identify potential risks and ensure adherence to global quality control and risk management processes.
  • Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, enhancing the firm's services and personal brand.

This individual will be responsible for executing engagements with the highest standards, within agreed timelines. They will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute service line strategies, ensuring alignment with the firm's broader business goals.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Corporate Tax, preferably gained in a Big 4 firm or similar top-tier environment.
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as CA, or a law degree with a tertiary qualification in Tax.
