We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our team in Devonport/Burnie. As a Stevedore Operations Specialist, you will be required to work an irregular shift pattern in a 24/7 roster, operating small fork-lifts and excavators, and performing various tasks on the wharf.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipboard and wharf duties, including moorings and general tasks
- Operation of small fork-lifts and excavators
Desired Skills and Experience
- High Risk License in Forklift
- Current driver's licence
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Demonstrated safety behaviours and experience
- Ability to work autonomously and use a proactive approach to task resolution
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
