About the Role


The Operations Manager – Retail will support our Retail Asset Managers in managing a portfolio of Shopping Centres in line with client requirements. You will be provided with the tools necessary and supported to learn and grow your career.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage day-to-day operations, safety, risk, and compliance for a portfolio of Shopping Centres
  • Establish and manage a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme
  • Provide technical and maintenance advice as the primary contact
  • Ensure statutory requirements are appropriately addressed
  • Manage tenant relationships and operational issues
  • Manage capital and operational expense administration, including budget preparation and forecasting

About You


To succeed in this role, you will have:



  • A Property Representative licence or ability to attain one in the near future
  • Tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management or a property-related course
  • Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical engineering, or plumbing, or significant work experience and demonstrated success in a similar role
  • General knowledge of WHS legislation, principles, and practices
  • General understanding of key building services
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent business writing and oral communication skills
  • A current driver's licence
