Sentia Healthcare is a reputable healthcare organization with a strong presence in the community. We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team.



Job Summary

We are offering a challenging role for a seasoned medical practice manager who enjoys interfacing with people and has a strong sense of integrity. The successful candidate will have opportunities for further professional development, including the potential to become a state manager for all our ACT practices.



Key Responsibilities


  • Operations Management: Oversight of day-to-day management of the practice, staff management, and rostering, ensuring compliance with public health and safety requirements.
  • Medicare Billings & Practice Performance: Management of medicare claims, promoting additional revenue streams, controlling expenditure, and developing quarterly performance reports with recommendations.
  • Human Resources: Coordination of new staff hiring, encouraging staff motivation and professional development, ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment, and implementing recruitment strategies as needed.
  • Clinical Governance and Safety: Ensuring clinical governance processes are in place, recording and reporting incidents, exercising duty of care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to practice standards and accountability.
  • Practice Accreditation & IT: Managing provider number applications, reaccreditation, cybersecurity risk minimization, and ensuring medical records are secured periodically.


The successful candidate will undergo an interview with our Founding Director and participate in a 3-month paid trial period before being awarded a permanent position. The salary will be determined based on experience, with a yearly performance bonus of up to 10% for strong performance based on set KPIs.



Our estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
