Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training Lead to join our Service Modernisation Program. The successful candidate will report directly to the Program Director - Change & Engagement and be responsible for delivering training strategy, initiative training plans, training needs analysis, and training logistics.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to develop, influence, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct training needs analysis, data analysis, and tackle training challenges and efficiencies.

The Training Lead will play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation, working closely with cross-government teams to deliver training outcomes that meet the needs of vulnerable Queenslanders. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, influence, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify cross-government synergies and opportunities for collaboration in delivery of training outcomes.
  • Define the training strategy for the program to establish a standardised mechanism for training all initiative cohorts.
  • Lead, manage, and execute training plans across the service modernisation program and transformation projects to embed change across internal staff and external public-facing customer cohorts.

  • Demonstrate leadership, mentoring, and inspirational skills to support training outcomes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, actively listening whilst being engaging.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for needs analysis, data analysis, and tackling training challenges and efficiencies.
