Network Planning Leadership Role

This position is responsible for leading strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency in assigned markets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing data-driven strategies to improve market performance
  • Driving analysis-based initiatives to optimize resource allocation
  • Providing actionable insights to inform business decision-making
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong understanding of the airline industry, including Qantas Group operations and competitor schedules
  • Ability to interpret profit & loss statements and derive cost estimates for flying
  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Excel modeling
  • Quick learner with ability to develop new tools and techniques
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Trusted by senior management and peers
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or aviation
  • 2+ years' experience in a commercial planning or analytical role
