Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Cost Management: Create and track cost reports, ensuring accurate financial management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Tendering and Estimation: Participate in tendering and estimation processes, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Labour and Subcontractor Management: Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and modify ITPs, SWMS, and other project documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise closely with clients, ensuring project delivery meets their expectations.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
  • Programming and Planning Skills: Solid skills in programming and planning, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Experience in a Contractor Environment: Preferably experience working in a contractor environment, with a strong understanding of Defence projects.
