Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our projects. You will be responsible for developing working relationships, problem-solving, and driving projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop working relationships, problem-solving, and driving projects to successful completion
- Proactively manage the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
- Responsible for preparation of project management plans, programs, budgets, and other key project deliverables
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs-saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
- Managing project timelines, risks, and reporting
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
- Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
- Managing internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management, and contract risk
- Building the business through engagement, marketing, and tendering activities
- Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to grow and develop professionally
- Contract Administration & Acting as the Superintendent's Representative to support the Superintendent;
- Writing Minutes for all meetings
- Drafting PSC Reports, Drafting Monthly reports for review by the AD or Director
Requirements:
- Administrative skills with strength in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) essential.
- Familiarity with Aconex advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Design Phase highly desirable.
- Construction Contract Administration experience highly desirable.
- Bachelor qualification in a construction-related field, or intentions to do so. Bachelor Qualification in a different field but with a keen interest in construction or experience in a construction-related field. Alternatively, 10+ year industry experience without Bachelor qualifications.
- Great communication skills, both written (including excellent spelling and grammar) and verbal are essential. English fluency to a native standard essential.
