Bushland and Fire Management Position

We are seeking a fire management labourer to join our team in Mornington Shire Council.

The role involves prioritizing the safety and management of bush areas across the region, focusing on wildfire management, natural resource, and horticultural management.

This position presents an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the local community.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering fire management works across Mornington with minimal environmental disturbance.
  • Assisting the Parks and Roadsides team where required.
  • Growing your skills in Fire/Fuel Management.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in Holistic Bushland Management and Environmental management (desirable).
  • A Chainsaw Certificate (desirable).
  • A Chemical Users Certificate (desirable).
