As a Bushland Management Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating high-quality bushland management services across multiple local government areas.

  • Fostering partnerships with community groups, water authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the region's natural environment.
  • Managing budgets, contracts, and reporting to ensure compliance and strong project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A comprehensive understanding of urban biodiversity conservation, rehabilitation, and natural area management.

  • Experience working in a politically complex environment, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and contract development.
  • The ability to plan and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies, including team development and performance management.
