Job Opportunity: Medical Services Manager

The role of a Medical Services Manager is critical to the success of our business. As part of our diverse team based in Sydney, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing medical services within our organization.

Key responsibilities include supervising and managing a team of clinical advisors, developing and implementing strategies to optimize medical management processes and outcomes, and ensuring the appropriate coordination and allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

In addition to your leadership skills, we require a comprehensive understanding and demonstrated experience working in the personal injury industry, ideally with experience with workers' compensation insurance and legislation.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise medical management processes and outcomes.
  • Design work practices, procedures, and schedules of work to deliver business outcomes.

  • Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and respond effectively to changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, nursing, occupational therapy).
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role, managing teams and working within a fast-paced and high-quality environment within the workers' compensation or healthcare industry.
  • Well-established knowledge of disability and injury management.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and an excellent eye for detail.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
