We have an exciting role for a Medical Manager based out of Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires scientific and medical leadership to maximize patient safety and therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the highest scientific and medical expertise for allocated diseases and associated medicines.
  • Collaborate with Associate Director Medical Affairs to develop and implement local Medical Affairs strategies and tactics to support best clinical practice in diagnosis and management of patients with allocated diseases and eligible medicines.
  • Manage externally sponsored trials and internally led phase 4 or RWE clinical studies.
  • Provide medical input for regulatory and market access submissions.
  • Act as a medical expert to ensure compliance with SOPs and local regulations.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree (M.D.), pharmacy degree, PhD, or an advanced science degree in a relevant bioscience area.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in relevant roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, both locally and internationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively educate Key Opinion Leaders, challenge common perceptions, and implement medical affairs tools to improve patient safety and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Curious, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial creative problem-solving approach and strong project management skills.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Knowledge/experience with rare diseases and Neurology.
  • Experience in product launch or strategy development and execution.
  • Proven leadership capabilities; interpersonal and influencing skills.
