Job Title: VMware Cloud Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned VMware Cloud expert to lead deployments and lifecycle management of VMware Cloud Foundation environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and optimising VMware Cloud environments with a focus on automation, scalability, and security.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy scalable and secure VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
  • Implement automation tools such as Ansible and Aria Suite to streamline deployment and management processes.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Ansible and Aria Suite to ensure efficient delivery of cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and enforce RBAC/IAM policies to ensure robust security protocols and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mentor engineers and document solutions, driving knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT/cloud engineering with a strong background in VMware Cloud.
  • Strong automation skills including PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS/Tanzu preferred) for containerised application deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
