Cloud Engineering Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in managing and integrating hybrid infrastructure environments. The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for administering and maintaining hybrid infrastructure, spanning on-premises systems, AVS (Azure VMware Solution), and Azure native services.

  • Provide expert Level 3 support across Windows Server and cloud platforms.
  • Administer and maintain hybrid infrastructure: on-prem, AVS, and Azure-native.
  • Integrate services with third-party providers including WAN and secure internet gateways.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across SIAM-aligned processes.
  • Partner with the service desk and desktop teams to support a modern M365 environment.
  • Support infrastructure transformation aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and hub-and-spoke topologies.
  • Contribute to application services management and virtual server optimisation.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016–2022
  • Strong hands-on expertise in the Azure Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency with VMware environments
  • Knowledge of Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
  • Azure networking and hub-and-spoke topology
  • Virtual server management and application services
  • Familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Power Automate
  • Certifications: MS900, MS102, AZ900, AZ104
  • NV1 Security Clearance - as you will be supporting a Federal Government customer
